    The Sox didn't expect Middlebrooks to be this good this early. Cherington said in his presser today that he expected him to stay in AAA most of the year. Middlebrooks came up and took the job away from Youk so thats why there was no trade in the off season, they expected Kevin to start at 3rd all year. Yes we got nothing but it's not like Youk is an MVP candidate this year or anything.

    Their lineup is filthy and if ours hits like we did on the weekend, there could be a lot of balls flying through the air tonight and tomorrow. 'll take our two starters over their two guys though. As long as the bullpen doesnt s*** all over themselves, we should be fine.

    Ross got hosed but whatever. We dominated the series, got the season back on track and if it wasnt for running into an elite pitcher having a great day, we would've swept them. I'm very happy with this series.
