I think this rotation is going to stay the way it is. Cherries is probably going to try and catch lightning in a bottle for this year. Then make a big splash in the slew of pitchers next offseason. Trading key pieces to this franchises future for Hammels is pretty dumb considering the amount of talert that will be available next offseason.

Lester is not a 25mil a year pitcher. The FO set a price for him and stuck to it. I honestly do not think Cueto or Latos will cost us dearly. To be honest, I'm sure deal could be done with a team that no one has been talking about. Everyone needs to stay patient. Theres no way Boston goes into the season with the rotation that they have now. It will get fixed, just wait.

I think trading for a couple solid 1 year rentals and then go all in in FA next year could be the franchises best bet. I'm not really in love with Hammels for the price PHI is asking for.

I keep hearing that Cespedes is being dealt for Matt Latos. Don't know how true it is but I would like that.

Its not like Boston shipped Lester away to a s*** team. If anything, they did Lester a solid by shipping him to a contender in a contract season. Everyone knew Bostons season was over before the trade deadline. There is no reason why he should be salty.

I'm pretty interested in what Craig has in store for this upcoming season. I wouldn't be opposed to trying to ship Napoli off and giving Craig the reigns at 1st. Or letting him play LF, Panda 1st, Hanley 3rd. The guy has too good of a track record to write him off for a bad season, dealing with an injury. It would give us more money to throw at pitching.
