The Spring Training Excitement Thread

We'll be staying in Clearwater as we really want to experience the beach there & other things near/in Tampa. However, we will be heading to Fort Myers early afternoon and spending the day there until the game at 7:05. Just not sure on things to do/see in the area that day. Also, any specific places that we should try for lunch? -

I'm thrilled to inform you all that I will be heading over to Florida in March to attend my first Spring Training game. I will be watching the Red Sox take on the Rays in Fort Myers and also will be watching the Red Sox vs. Phillies in Clearwater @ Phillies Park. This will be my first time seeing the Red Sox in general. (In July I will be seeing them for two games in Houston but still need to make it to Fenway!) Let's just say I am beyond excited but wonder if there is any advice that you guys would like to share if you have been down to Fort Myers before? I appreciate it. -
Lil K here, nice to meet you. My Bostonian girlfriend got me into the Sox about ten years ago. And I have never been the same since.....
