I agree, it's pretty obvious the Sox rotation know Varitek more and are way more comfortable pitching to him.
I don't care if he hits .150, pitching is way more valuable right now.
He seems to of lost confidence in his hitting or something, walking like Manny did with the White Sox last year.
Walks are always good but I agree, he needs to try to hit more.
This lineup is odd but I think Francona realizes we don't need that many runs tonight with Lester pitching.

No doubt. Pedro is the greatest of all time, Dice-K is a failure that wouldn't even be doing good in Japan right now.
Hell, I'm sure 50 year old Pedro would be better then 30 year old Dice-K.
