The traditions of both the Red Sox and Liverpool although different are similar. Whilst they went and waited longer due to the "curse" which we are currently under the spell of, it was broken in recent times. As far as Im concerned, even before this deal, the Sox and comparisons with ManUre couldnt be further apart. Possibly amongst the most passionate fans in the U.S have just joined THE most passionate and dedicated fans in England, Liverpool Football Club. The fact that this is a deal with New England SV and the history that has alone (why its called New England for starters!) should see something way beyond what those two cowboys promised and didnt bring to the club.

Hi to all you Red Sox fans! I truly hope you can welcome us as part of NESV if this deal goes through, and we pray it does. This alliance could form and become one of the biggest and most successful in world sport. Liverpool Football Club are one of THE biggest sporting brands in the world, with fans in every country on this planet who have so much as a passing interest in football. Don't let the comments of a few taint your view, though do try and understand that in these worrying times for our club, emotions are running very high. I can say hand on heart that Liverpool Football Club is one of the most passionately and traditionally supported in the world, if not THE most passionately followed. If you take a look on youtube for some of our big European nights, you will see the kind of thing Im talking about. The "anti americans" thing does not include anyone other than specifically Gillet & Hicks who have done nothing but lie to us and burden our club with $hundreds of millions. In 2007 we had an operating debt of 44million Pounds, nothing to worry about for a club of our stature. In 2010 depending on what you read its around 250-300 million Pounds (375-450 million USD) and G&H have only taken us backwards. Believe me, we welcome John W Henry and NESV with open arms! We are heading into the most important week in our history, and Friday is the biggest and most worrying day and time for us, with the Royal Bank of Scotland being able to forclose on G&H's debt, putting us into administration with a 9 point deduction. This deal goes through, you have a new baseball and Red Sox fan here... along with many others to follow I'm sure.
