Vlads Quiff's Achievements

  1. Given that Steve Nicol the Chief Coach of NER is a Liverpool Legend a match between Liverpool and NER at Fenway Park would be fantastic. I might even make it over myself regards
  2. re: the Prawn Sandwich Brigade. I think that was more aimed by Keane at the corporate hospitality lot. regards
  3. Thanks Spudboy. I am intrigued. What was your interpretation of the word "Quiff" that you introduced? Who the f*** is Vlad? Vladimir Smicer was a Liverpool player from the Czech Repulblic who gloriously failed to live up to his potential, (until he scored a goal in the Champions League Final 2005. )He was a perennial sick-note, but if any of the Liverpool players were interviewed they would always point to Vladd as being the most skillful player in training. Ha, you were probably not that interested regards
  4. Haha, I bet you guys were not expecting this thread when you got up this morning. It will settle down soon. All the Sox regulars have come out of this with great credit but I think special thanks should go to YesZir, who really did not know what was going on, but came round to things eventually, well done Sir, and also to Dojji who amazingly kept everything in perspective right the way through, and could even be a Scouser . Thanks for taking the invasion and in-fighting in your stride. I have a great affection for Boston since I visited a couple of years ago on route to visiting my son who was an intern in a hotel in the Lakes Region of NH for a year. We stayed in the Parker House Hotel..fantastic City and great people. Anyways I think most things have been put straight since the United fans have tried stirring things up between us, but I just wanted to make a few points. I would suggest there was no anti-American feeling it was ill feeling to two people who happened to be American, and anyone who tars a nation with the same brush is an idiot, although we have our fair share it has to be said. We have not been saints in the past and there is some guilt in an accumulation of circumstances at Heysel that we are not proud of. Hillsborough was the darkest day in British Football, and there but for the grace of God go I. I was in the stand over where the deaths occurred, the year before I was in the very place where the fans were crushed to death, and saw it unfolding before my eyes. I think to get a flavour of what Liverpool Football Club is all about and it's sense of community it is worth reading something about the Hillsborough disaster and looking at some images, it will help people understand...Ha, assuming anyone is that interested of course. Anyway proud to be associated with the Red Sox, and here is to a long and happy relationship. kindest regards
