  1. This is the judge's FB page. Looks like he's making lots of new friends! EDIT: I wonder whether he has email alerts on for when people write on his wall? EDIT2: It looks like he's disabled his account already!
  2. Didn't see that one coming! I don't think UK law give one little hoot about a Texas court's ruling concerning a UK company. RBS can simply call in the debt, take possession of the assets and sell them on. Or they can sell the debt itself to NESV, who can call it in immediately and take control of the assets.
  3. I like the sound of this.
  4. Why do these lame "reporters" have to have a go at Torres at every opportunity? Considering how injured and "getting back into shape" he's been according to these same tosspots, he's still out performing most forwards in the league, and beaten our best forwards, that played in clearly better sides, to landmark goals scored, and he doesn't actually get much time against the low level opposition or take penalties. These lame shitheads need to compare his stats to granny shaggers and divers found in the top sides before spewing their utter wank. Maybe they're still pissed off and jealous he wore a Liverpool scarf while celebrating his world cup win?
  5. deleted: server was 404ing
  6. I might be confused, but wasn't it Sox "fans" that went nuts, smashing up cars or something after beating the Yankees? Or was that another club? (sorry, I'm not up to speed with baseball's underbelly).
  7. Celtic use it too, and their rendition is just as good.
  8. Some of the early "Liverpool fan" post were sad mancs stirring it up. They were joking about who posted what on their own forums, sad gits. After the initial flurry, a few real fans stuck around, with Sox people chipping in. It's been quite sane really, like a stroll in the park after a large dinner. A welcome change from the usual twatfest surrounding the prem and internet retarded warriors.
  9. Says it all. Not your fault they're a bunch of w4ank3rs.
  10. You're right there! Hodgson has really lost it in interviews, considering he was the UK darling of the press. I bet it's just the "press" smelling blood and wanting to see another name fail to give them more pages of pap of fill. We don't know what he's like with players, but I suspect he's more matey than a boss. We desperately need someone with a spine like Shanks, Paisley or Dalglish, to put the ponces and slackers in their place, or kick them out. Hodgson's track reckon is about his strength of organizing mediocre players into a unit, something we are definitely not. I hope he comes good, or leaves very soon.
  11. Dude, news of the world can fsck off and die.
  12. I suspect Hodgson will get the sack pretty soon. Not only is he failing to create a team that can get results, he's also making us phenomenally boring, which is going some after Rafa's last year. Either he gears up for an attacking game, or flukes some results, or he gets his massive 1 year salary pay off with 28 days notice. Sammy Lee should go too. We need to be getting at teams from the off, not sitting back with 7 players guarding the goal afraid to reach the center line.
  13. Our youth system used to be quite good, as in feeding great players every now and then, rather than bulking up the squad, but Rafa killed it. There was a report not too long ago about local kids giving us the miss because they felt they'd never get passed the flood of foreign cheap signings, so they went bluenose. Whether it's true or not remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, we're not getting new local blood making the grade, and our youth is full of crap. SG and Carra are at the end of their game, Spearing isn't going to cut it, other than Kelly, is there anyone on the horizon, let alone local. What happened to the kids that won the youth FA cup in 06 and 07? Damn, I remember the days when fans were screaming for Owen get some games because of his obvious ability, and he was still in diapers! How tiny he looked when he tried taking Schmeichel out, Smchuck being outraged was about to go for him but saw this little hamster character instead, did a double take, and looked on like a bemused parent. LOL!
  14. Broughton paving the way to boot Hodgson? I like the last line: "However, as we all know, at the end of the day, everything depends on results."
  15. Personal opinion, others will differ: Cole is debatable these days. I hope he comes good. Exciting signing but not done much yet. I think he flatters to deceive. Always looks like he's going to do something, but manages to make nothing of it. Torres: Pure class, ignore the crap in the press. Reina: Extremely good and reliable, gets beaten by beachballs, though! Konchesky: meh, not convinced (a Woy signing) Agger: class, can read the game, seems to be out of favor. I'd play him in midfield instead of Lucas/Poulsen if he can't have a space at the back. Skrtel: a bit scary looking, has trouble at the start of the season, doesn't take prisoners when he gets going Carragher: Mr Liverpool, too slow, used to be a very good stopper, not overly convincing these days. Johnson: Can get caught out of position, would love to see him as a winger Aurelio: cropped too often, not bad when he gets a run Kuyt: hard worker, gets the odd important goal, would prefer him to player as a forward or be on the bench. Always the first name on the teamsheet for some reason Lucas: *shakes head* Poulsen: rubbish, tells us Hodgson is still thinking mid-table shite Meireles: Great on the ball, too early to tell, probably too good for the dross around him Jovanovic: Headless chicken like Berger. Tries really hard, wouldn't make a top 7 side, probably Ngog: Fast forward, misses too many chances. Had a good start this year, but Woy stopped using him. Too lightweight really, age excuses don't cut it after seeing Fowler and Owen do better at 12. Babel: Does he even make the bench? Strong, fast, tends to be played as left-wing, would probably be better up front to create problems for defenders rather than having 3 on Torres. Has suspect first ball control. Pacheco: kid, could be very good, doesn't get game time, would love to see him get a run. As to the rest, one or two might make it. Kelly should, the rest tells us how awful our depth of squad really is.
  16. EDIT: This is what we want!
  17. I hope you're right, Redguard. I just don't trust those buggers, and they've had decades doing business through the courts. I'm getting rather nervous! I hope the judge is a closet Red and hammers them.
  18. Does anyone think Hicks will try and kick us in the nuts by delaying the court date, and forcing the debt to be called in, going into admin and all that that entails? Hicks's trail of destruction in Brazil doesn't make nice reading.
  19. It's not just Liverpool fans. Most of the season ticket holders I know for other clubs couldn't give a crap about the national side either. At best, it's a summer diversion where extra beer will be drunk, watching games in heaving pubs and clubs.
  20. That's nice. Broughton always came across as a total professional, I found it almost embarrassing the way some "fans" were saying he would sell our players to Chelsea and was merely a stooge for H&G. Mancs lose 80m. No wonder they stopped trolling here.
  21. Oh dear, it looks like the 9 point deduction is back on. I wouldn't put it passed H&G to ensure we get it, just out of spite.
  22. Bows down. *we're not worthy*
  23. When I read his bio, I was amazed to read he turned up with a trowel and whatnot to fix the dugout brickwork! Compare that to Ferguson's crap with having his entire squad walking up and down the lines with stopwatches to pressurize the refs/linos. Strangely, they didn't do it when they were winning...
