Well...both the Premier League and the Champions League are both big deals. Talking about championships won is always the domestic league, the Champions league is usually called the European Cup (as that was its previous incarnation). It gets more confusing when you take into account that you do not have to win your own domestic league to qualify for the Champions League. And there is also another similar European tournament for the lesser European leagues and teams to qualify for, called the Europa League (previously the UEFA Cup). This is the tournament that Liverpool are currently competing due to our poor showing in the league last season (It is doubtful at this stage under the current manager that we will qualify for even this lesser tournament, but that is another argument for another time). I see what you mean now, it is confusing.

Ive only just found this part of your forum, so here goes I am one of the legion of Liverpool fans who invaded your website on the 6th of October, and I was extrememly happy to find you all welcoming and friendly towards us, considering for us it was rather large news and for you guys not so much But now the furore has died down, Ive taken the opportunity to explore other parts of this forum, and whilst most of the baseball stuff has (ashamedly) gone over my head, it seems like a good place to stick around in.
