Bill Ladson of MLB.com reports that the Nationals are still interested in trading for the Rays' B.J. Upton.
We heard back in April that Upton was being targeted by the Nats, and with their search for a center fielder seemingly now kicked into high gear, Upton might be at the top of their wish list. It would be hard to see the Rays dealing him while they're still very much in the AL East race, but if they fall out of contention by the deadline, we could certainly see a match. Upton, who is arbitration-eligible for two more seasons, is batting .228/.324/.389 with seven homers and 12 steals this season.
