    Why did the Red Sox pickup Eric Patterson? I don't think I've seen him do anything useful, besides when he hit two home runs in one game when the were playing Tampa at Tropicana Field.

    Go figure, Dice-K gives us a pretty good outing and the Red Sox can't seem to score a run.

    I know it has absolutely nothing to do that. It has more to do with Florida is just not a baseball state.

    Tampa is still struggling to get fans to come to the games, ORC. I think the only times that I've seen them sellout is when either the Yankees of the Red Sox are in town.

    I agree with you there. People may think that heat isn't all that bad, but if you are in a place that gets really hot, it can be like walking into a wall of heat every time you step out of a building with air conditioning.

    I would have to vouch for Tampa Florida. Every time I go to the Trop when the Red Sox are in town it is probably half full with Red Sox fans, if not more. Actually, you can say the same thing about the Yankees too. They have a lot of Yankee fans that go out to the Trop. It seems like a lot of northerners flock to the south because of the weather. Although, personally, I think the weather is too hot here and I would much rather be back in the snow.

    I'll take one for the team. I will kill Josh Beckett so we don't have to deal with him. But, you guys have to pull some money together so I can get a good layer.

    If the Yankees get Cliff Lee, you might as well give them the championship for the next couple of years.

    I agree, with Beckett death is imminent. But, with the bullpen you have some chance of not blowing the game.
