    If the Sox were playing the Marlins, I'd agree. We're not only running away from the division, but in position to sweep the Yankees. I get what you're saying and I do agree football is higher on the radar. I just think between the Red Sox sweeping the Yankees vs road game week 1, I'd choose the Red Sox.

    Might trade for another RB if Lacy doesn't cut it. I have Welker, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson at WR. I could definitely deal for a solid RB.

    f***, this really sucks. Never really wanted Newton to begin with, but these dickheads drafted QBs so early. Hopefully Wilson scores more points because I am still iffy about benching Newton. I also have Flacco who I picked up with my last pick. Ok, in my other league I have AP and Lacy going. Obviously AP is staying, but I have Shane Vereen and Bernard at the bench. I like Lacy because he is starting, but the Bills suck ass and Vereen may or may not get touches on the ball. Bernard has potential but he won't see much time too early either.

    Currently have Newton starting over Wilson. Did not think about benching him until I realized how poorly he did last year vs the Seahawks. Thoughts?

    It's not. Pats play away vs a s***** Bills team and it's only the first week. The Red Sox are close to sweeping the Yankees and it's almost the end of the season. I'm super excited for football too(yes, even as a Chargers fan) but football won't get much attention from me. At least not until we're through with the playoffs.

The Rays lost tonight and we now have an 8.5 lead in the division. We already got the series win, but I want more. Lets sweep these punks, then take care of the Rays. Lester in six straight games has allowed 3 or fewer runs. Can't say the same for Kuroda. We kicked his ass last time he faced us, and has been only getting worse. Even had trouble beating up on the White Sox, LOL.     Not sure what thread it was, but Forsyth hit the nail right on the head with the Rays. He said once they went on the west coast trip, they'd start to suck it up. They sure are big time.Last road trip out west, they won zero games. On this road trip, they are 3-10 and could be 3-11 if they lose tonight. They are currently losing 3-0 right now to the Mariners. This division lead is about to get real comfortable.
