    Henley could be the biggest ******* in the world. If he performs to his potential, I'd take him in heartbeat. SS has been a problem in Boston for a while. I'd be interesting to see what kind of lineup would be made with Hanley in it.

    Before I say anything regarding management, I think picking a captain of the team is really stupid. A700 I know you're waiting for the GM spot but take one for the team and take Francona's spot Just kidding man. I don't know much about any of those players you guys mentioned earlier because I've never seen them play and how they act etc. I hear the Sox are going for Valentine? Is that a good move or bad? I see some posters are down for the move and some are not. I'd like to know why some of you think that way. Also what do you guys look for in a manager? What I want to see in Boston is someone who will lay the smackdown when a player doesn't do something right and has a shorter leash on a player. I feel like Francona was I guess you can say soft and he had wayyyy to much confidence in players which cost us a good amount of games. That's just me though. Interesting topic btw I just have no idea who anyone is.

    I've always loved baseball since I was a baby, but I really became a fan in the 07 season(from the start). Francona has always been a really cool manager and that won't go unnoticed. I love what he did for the team. Regardless of what happened in September I'm still pretty bummed about him leaving. It probably has to happen though. Poor guy must be getting pounded by the media. It'll be tough watching the Sox next year without him but it's just something I have to accept. Even though his management can make my head explode, it was a pleasure watching. Thank you Terry Francona.
