Hey Red Sox Nation, I'm a Cardinals fan here in St. Louis who is asking for a HUGE favor to help me plan a trip for me and my dad to make our first ever trip to Fenway Park. I would like to surprise my dad with a trip to Boston (we live in St. Louis, as we are Cardinals fans but have always been Red Sox fans as well) and for him to reconnect with his best friend Dwight Evans To make the long story story of why, they were best friends while growing up in California and my dad kept in touch with him for a long time while he played with the Red Sox. We would meet up with Dwight before or after the games when Boston came in town to play the Angels while we lived in California. My dad and I have never been to Fenway Park before and I thought it would be neat to have my dad reconnect with Dwight again as they haven't talked to each other for the last 15 years or so. The last time they saw each other was when Dwight was a batting coach for the Colorado Rockies and they made a visit to St. Louis back in the mid '90's. I assume Dewey still lives in Boston area.
