Hey Boston People,
New to your site. I'm not a troll and I just love the game of baseball. Being born and raised in NY (like if you were born and raised in Boston), I do LOVE the Yanks!!
That being said, I'm not a trouble maker nor am I a hater with only negative and derogatory comments to say about the Sox or any other team for that matter. I call what I see, and I don't pull any punches! If the Yankees were to lose 10 in a row, I'm not making excuses, it is what it is.
Glad to be on this site. I love to talk baseball and I rarely get a chance. I understand I'm entering enemy territory; I also belong to the Yanks forum. However the Yanks forum is a bunch of idiot guidos who no nothing about the actual game of baseball; it's intricacies, nuances, and the real deal about what baseball is really about. (call me a trader, I don't care, this forum and Red Sox fans just know more about the game than Yankee fans, not all, but most Yankee fans are like, "who"? They cannot even tell you 5 players in the lineup. "sigh". Most cannot even name 3 starting pitchers.
Anyway, I will give my opinions on various games and baseball news from a Yankee fan perspective, but I will neither hate on the Red Sox, nor any other team; I won't get out of line and talk sh*t when there is no reason for it. Just not me.
I was an early champion of the Red Sox competing for a Wild Card or division, and like I said, the best teams make it and I call it how I see it.
So relax Boston fans, we have plenty of Sox fans on the Yankee forums, however I ignore them for the most part. If I say something intelligent, I'm just a, "loser Yankees fan." If I try and make a distinguishable argument, I get holy hell from both the Yankee fans (If I stick up for another player, especially Boston) and from the Boston fans. *sigh*
Anyway, to conclude, I'm looking forward to a great competitive season. The Sox will annihilate the Blue Jays in the End, and we will see who gets into post-season play: Yankees, Rays, or Red Sox. It will be two of the three. I hope to see some great games, (although the Yanks and Sox don't meet again for awhile), and we will see if the Yankees can repeat and get #28, or maybe they won't.?
GL to Boston, and the A.L. East looks like its going to be a close one this year. Thanks for accepting me on the board and the forums and I hope to talk some great baseball action will the fine members of this community.
Wishing Everyone the Best Always,
W
