    Once you get a long term deal, what are you playing for? You get paid regardless of performance, so there's not much incentive to play well. Especially if your deal is taking you to pretty much the end of your career. This is why I get so frustrated by 100% guaranteed contracts.

    Pac now being sued by fans in a class action because his team was not forthcoming about the shoulder injury. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

    I read today that Hanley's approach to the wall has been tempered by fear of reinjuring the shoulder, so perhaps a move to 3B would be less of a risk long term.

    you got the Rays TV crew? I've got their radio crew and despite a douchey strike out call, they aren't so bad.
