    Why not? It'd be a huge boost to his confidence if he close out a game tonight, because how bad of a vibe it has been surrounding this club with the closing situations. Also it appear Doubie is headed to the BP, and his starting spot is yet to be determined. He may have lost it because how taxing the BP is with him and Lackey been.

    Tazawa since 2012: 1.70 ERA 9.72 K/9 1.23 BB/9 2.10FIP 2.63xFIP And the good thing about Bailey is they didn't botch it by having him appeared in a game only to be taken out. Right now they will retroactively set him back to 8 days ago and he could be back soon as next Monday if his condition improve.

    have they release any info on Bailey? He had an MRI done after that road trip. I was surprise Bailey flew to Texas and not Boston after Toronto. Who the hell is running the show?

    When they signed the 39 year old Koji Uehara, they did not planned to somehow give him the 2nd most appearances in the AL to this point. He can close, but he won't able to do so everyday when needed. We need a RELIABLE arm and the closes guy to that is Tazawa.

    Tazawa should close, but they would lose their best non closing reliever in situations they need a Houdini act.

    BTW I don't think our closers had a 3 run save all season. They had a 2 run save once or twice.

    Koji should close. Tazawa 7-8th relief ace, ala Bard. He has stranded 11/12 inherited runners.
