  1. There will be no reunion.
  2. This is a long term plan no doubt to hit Betts 3rd. Who hits in the other spot remains to be seen.
  3. Iglesias is good at making contact and that is pretty much it for his offensive games. He has some speed, which enables him to make more use of contact.
  4. Former prospect Margot is hitting .311/.358/.447, being 21yo in AAA is excellent. He has an impressive K/BB rate as well. He should be up if SD were contending.
  5. Last night Hanley Ramirez destroy the dbags. He was a one man wrecking crew. Tonight he has a chance to do it again.
  6. I might could see the Marlins picking him up. Outside of them, I can't see anybody trying.
  7. We have a good staff, 3.68 ERA in the 2nd half(AL ranking), only .05 separates them from 2nd place. That could happen if our defense didn't take a dive recently. Porcello, E-Rod, Wright, Price pitch a lot of innings too. But it's downright shameful the offense and the bullpen has s*** the beds.
  8. I didn't know Ryan Howard is still playing. Papelbon is about to be release! lol
  9. Pedroia need some popsicle.
  10. Price better not f*** this up
  11. Those unis are fugly.
  12. Mookie has 15 solo bombs, 10 of them leading off an inning, 6 to lead the game. That's a lot of damage, better if he hits them in the middle of the order.
  13. When Farrell thinks, it's dangerous.
  14. This is partially correct.
  15. There will be a lot of dbags on the field tonight.
  16. With the bullpen as is, getting another inning out from the starter who was at 93 pitches would be obvious. E-Rod should stay in. His other 5 games is quite meaningless. At worst he would leave the game tied.
  17. One of my biggest issues with Farrell is pulling pitchers at the wrong time. Last night, the battered bullpen could use another inning out of E-Rod, who was cruising with just 93 pitches. Ziegler was due to face a lot of lefties and he has a huge split. Then there is just the opposite, he would leave a starter in too long. Buchholz is their long man, he has only TWICE pitch over 1 inning as a reliever. That's right, the long man is the forgotten one. There's been many starters struggles in the time Buchholz was in the bullpen, Wright, Price and Pomaranz. Just the other night, Pom-Pom only go 5.1 IP, you need innings out of the long man. Win the f***ing game that night. Who cares if Clay is the Saturday starter. You could call somebody up to pitch against the hapless Dbacks in his place.
  18. Ziegler is old and has not so dominating stats. Barnes is still unprovened. Losing Koji, Smith and Tazawa hurts them. And Farrell needs to figure out quickly what Tazawa is now, it was a mistake to take him out the 8th inning role to begin the year.
  19. Pomeranz has done fine. It's better than watching Clay blows up everytime in the 1st inning. He is their 5th missing starter all year. Joe Kelly, Clay Buchholz, Henry Owens are not worthy.
  20. Badly constructed bullpen. Buchholz has yet to done anything as a reliever, he appears sporadically, mostly when the team is well behind. Him getting yet another start is blasphemy at this point. But whatever. Then you have 2 LOOGY that are constantly up and down. Abad has to find a train that exit Boston by nightfall.
  21. Beni only play a few games. But Betts/Leon were really the only players to not suck the last month. Pedroia is somewhere in between. The rest flat out sucks.
  22. Not one, not two, not three, but almost everyone at the same time.
