    Verlander is on pace for 25 wins. The last time anyone had 25+ wins was twenty years ago. Wins are overrated to an extent, but they definitely mean something when you have the ERA, WHIP, K, etc to back it up.

    Whenever I watch Yankee games on Yes, I make sure to change channels during commercial, and put a piece of tape on the television right where the in-stadium advertising is.

    Lester is better off getting game 1 anyway. The game 1 starter is more likely to be used to pitch on short rest than the game 2 starter, so I'd prefer the healthy ace, Lester, to be that guy.
