  1. With pitching like this, can anyone realistically see the NL winning the World Series this year?
  2. Is Carp really that slow a baserunner? He looked like he was about halfway there when thrown out.
  3. This is the spot where the Red Sox need to build some momentum. Middle of the order, Buchholz cruising at 1 run through the 4th with 50 pitches. Put two runs on the board, and things change quickly.
  4. The Red Sox's starting pitching has been very very good so far this series. Unfortunately, Detroit has just been better.
  5. Thunder and mojo in the same sentence.
  6. I don't know how I will get it through the week. High stress every day, followed by high stress every night.
  7. The run hurts, but the double play was lovely.
  8. Hot chick mojo is notoriously awful. We gave it a shot again last night and it failed us again. The only woman guaranteed to grant mojo is Taylor Swift.
  9. John Lackey career postseason ERA -- 3.35. Verlander career postseason ERA -- 3.48. Meh.
  10. On another note.... It took a one-hit bid to beat the Red Sox. Think about that. Sanchez and that bullpen had to be practically perfect in order to beat the Red Sox. Ain't going to happen again this series.
  11. The one-pitch AB from Middlebrooks in the 5th was back-breaking. Bogaertz has really showed his plate discipline over the last few games, and I think he may be a better fit for atleast a game or two.
  12. The reality was... if the Red Sox were to win the World Series, they would need Buchholz to be a stopper. Tomorrow is going to be a pretty crazy pitching matchup.
  13. f***. Thankfully Nava saved their pride -- would have been very ugly otherwise.
  14. If Bogaerts hits against 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight.
  15. All it will takes is a bloop hit to shallow center! Xander COME ON!
  16. Xander! Time to earn the #1 prospect in baseball status for 2014!
  17. Stephen Drew needs to wrap up the ALCS MVP early. Crush it.
  18. All those off days have hurt this team. Their eyes just aren't that sharp tonight.
  19. The Red Sox are going to get atleast one hit in the ninth. Really not relevant.
