    Sorry I'm new to the site and Im trying to sort through the argument. It always seems like Sox arguments break down into pro and anti Epstein camps. That's what's happening here right? I agree with Ron Burgundy, I think. The team isnt going to sit on its hands given an option. Even the incomplete lineup we have right now would be entertaining to watch on the field. It seems like some people i the past few pages dont really like being Sox fans.

    Did everyone read Boras flat out comparing Beltre to Bay? I was initially confused because I thought Bay was a Boras guy. Turns out no, but holy crap the guy has a lot of clients.

    Boston isn't Bay's hometown. I don't see him giving a hometown discount anywhere. I dont even believe in them. Jason Bay will take the money, like all baseball players.

    No I actually like him. He's way better than half of the stiff "personalities" on the MLB network.

    I love and hate hot stove season because the littlest names cause huge commotions. There's no obvious route this offseason so I'm very interested in seeing what Theo does for the team. I know some people disagree but I've always put faith in the FO. I figure it's their full time job to make the team better and they have a whole team of statisticians to back them up. I'm just a bum so what do I know. My faith in Bellichick also used to get me through football season. Now, maybe not.

    Hey everyone. I've been reading a bunch of sox sites for a while now, I guess I finally figured it was time to take the plunge and join one. I hope to get some good discussion in before Spring Training starts. As you can tell I like PG. I love his amazing Red Sox bias and his inarticulate speech, even pre stroke. I think NESN is much richer for having signed him on. They put those weenies over at YES to shame. Also this is incredible :ortiz:
