I would still like to have Buchholz and the prospects. What is the max time we have him. 7-8 years if we resign him. he is 32 and when he is 35 is he going to be as dominate. if we don't have to give up buchholz and a lot of prospects i would take a chance.

I would like to see the Sox sign Lackey, Hold onto to Buchholz and sign a SS and sign either Holliday or Bay. I think even though Buchholz is not as experienced as Halladay i think he will turn into something really good for the Sox this year. With Halladay my only concern is that after his injury he went 7-9 and before the injury he was 10-1. i know he plays for a suck team and all but it still raises my eyebrows a bit.

I was in Colorado in 2004 and Tim Wakefield, Kevin Millar, and Trot Nixon were eating dinner next to us and we got a picture of Kevin. Trot and Wake were kinda embarassed. Also in Colorado in the Center of Town Derek Lowe was just standing there so I got his Autograph and i have seen Jim Rowe a few times. He will never give me his autograph though. We used to stay in the same hotels as the Red Sox so I have like 5 or 6 Balls with autographs. Lou Merloni is the best though. he was signing in front of the hotel for me and my brother and he stopped and took a picture with me and my bro.

the one bad thing about Halladay is that after coming back from his injury he was not the same pitcher he was in the beginning of the season. he went 7-9 since his injury. This is not saying I wouldn't want him but is the number of prospects given up worth it.

it was all hypothetical. it in now way means it will happen. please understand this. I know it will prolly never happen but i am saying if you take that slim to none chance and saying it happens. Now purely Hypothetically, he doesn't sign a SS, who is our SS.

It was hypothetical. It means only IF it happened. No offense to theo he does not always say what he really is gonna do. NOMAR. But still i am not assuming he won't sign anyone. i Said if he doesn't Purely hypothetical.

It would be if they had a SS who could play everyday unlike Lowrie prolly will. Some players are MLB ready right out. Whats the worst that happens if he hits like Pedroia did when he first came up or at the beginning of 2007.

He most likely will be on the Spring Training. And in September he may come up with the other call ups. I would like to have him on the MLB roster to break camp. Who will be the back up infielder if Lowrie is our starter.

He is already on the 40 man roster. so it could happen that he ends up on the 25.
