  1. he was good in the short season but no number 1. ANd Buchholz is not Doc. Plus DOc is going to amazing in the NL. Getting to play the Mets and NAts. Getting out of Fenway and NYY Stadium.
  2. that includes his 1.7 from 2008. he had a 1.059 in 2007 and a 1.380 in 2009.
  3. Buchholz still has a lot to prove. 1.5 years of experience is not enough to base whether he is good or not not even having a full year in the majors in the starting rotation. He is good but we don't know how good because he hasn't put a full year in. He has a career 190.2 innings pitched in the majors with a record of 12-14. He has a good WHIP 1.495. ERA.- 4.91 BTW Dojji Halladay was not the ace that he is today at 24. 18-17 W-L. in 336.1 innings and a WHIP of 1.536. ERA.- 4.95
  4. I think that it is pretty cool. I mean Boston had Hockey and Concerts. I think it would be cool to see a football game at Fenway or NYY Stadium. it would be cool.
  5. The thing about putting him on the major league roster would not be good because that would include putting him on the 40 man eliminating one man from the 40 man and that the player would have to go through waivers. I do like the throwing out of the first pitch. Bring in Nomar, and some of the other retired numbers and players. Johnny Pesky.
  6. I think it will hurt and take away from some wins but their offense has improved and maybe they won't have to use a closer. lol. Bullpen by committee.
  7. Iglesias hit a homer to give the Sox the lead in the 8th.
  8. Even though i would like to Wake in their so he could pick up his 200th win. I think that Buchholz is the better pitcher and Wake would sink into the pen for the occasional spot start and maybe take a spot when someone is hurt.
  9. Wow something i can a agree with. Lol. I have had 5 mild concussions so far. all from hockey and i was back within the next few days of playing. While my friend on his first had to miss 2 months of school and couldn't play sports for 4-5 months.
  10. Pats Signed Tully Banta Cain to a three year deal.
  11. he was amazing wish i could have seen him play
  12. Daubach was really good and i loved the leprechaun look. He was 4th in ROY voting. And Timmy I hope he gets 200#. my dad likes tim because he says they have teh same fastball. lol
  13. 117-37 W-L He was one of the Best pitchers we have ever had.
  14. I wanna know who is your favorite Red Sox player and Why? It can be from the past, Like how everyone loves Pesky. Mine first favorite player happened to be Mo Vaughn. After his departure I became a big Trot Nixon fan. Currently I am a Huge Dustin Pedroia. I love the grittiness of how he plays and his jersey is never white. Just finished reading his book and it was really cool to read.
  15. Tonight's lineup brought to in part by the Globe. Red Sox (1-0) Mike Cameron CF Bill Hall RF Victor Martinez C J.D. Drew DH Jed Lowrie 2B Lars Anderson 1B Ryan Kalish LF Yamaico Navarro 3B Jose Iglesias SS Pitching: LHP Jon Lester followed by Tim Wakefield, Fernando Cabrera, Dustin Richardson, Ramon A. Ramirez, Robert Manuel and Randor Bierd. Twins (0-1) Denard Span CF Orlando Hudson 2B Joe Mauer C Justin Morneau 1B Michael Cuddyer RF Jim Thome DH Delmon Young LF J.J. Hardy SS Danny Valencia 3B Pitching: RHP Carl Pavano followed by Matt Guerrier, Clay Condrey, Jon Rauch, Rob Delaney, Alex Burnett and Anthony Slama. Iglesias and Cameron and also Drew are in the lineup which is good to see, especially for the last two after early season injury.
  16. We already all know that and that is the the butt of the joke that we have made on here before. Thank you for stating the Obvious.
  17. Are you serious? An average male racer loses anywhere from 5-20 pounds every race. There is some stamina and strength there. As for The woman thing. Let her into the Minor leagues. What is the worst that happens. She gets rocked and quits. It is not like baseball is like football where a woman might get killed. They had a woman play as a goaltender in the NHL in two preseason games.
  18. Well a month and a half is a long time to be missing from one place. Plus i am cool like that. I am the Mighty GINGER.
  19. It is also good that Boof said that his shoulder is feeling fine after the game. Drew and Cameron back on Friday. Dice-k to throw bullpen session on Friday to.
