  1. The idea for more capacity has obviously been a theme since they have expanded the seating at Fenway. Or have they not put in more seats. I would have never gone to Braves Field just to have more capacity, but the Sox did. Just remember the capacity theme, lets hope the greed doesn't go there, again
  2. But they do want more capacity and the Braves can win a world series there, in theory. Just hope Brave fans don't get wind of this
  3. I am not bitter, I am just a little bewildered as to why they would choose capacity over venue, and makes me wonder if this is the way the team will be thinking, again. As far as the 2-2, it did dawn on me that the posibility of the Braves winning in Fenway could make this a fact, that's all. And it would not be a fact had the Sox played those 2 World Series in Fenway and not in Braves Field, ironically enough.
  4. Unless of course...due to capacity Fenway is no longer what the Red Sox want, as history has already shown us
  5. Just want it for the historical record........remember this when it's 2-2 in Fenway
  6. Fenway Park capacity was 35,000 Braves Field capacity was 40,000 So for the Red Sox....more capacity won over the more beautiful venue
  7. So in other words, the Red Sox won the 1912 and 1918 world series in Fenway and the Braves won in 1914. If the Braves win one more in Fenway the score is 2-2 in wins at Fenway. That is what they have risked by deciding to play 2 world series outside of their venue, all because of what?
  8. That's not my question, regardless if Braves Field was built in 1915, the question is why would the Sox prefer to play the 1915 and 1916 world series in Braves Field instead of Fenway
  9. You mean that the Braves wanted to play in a better venue and the Sox didn't? I am confused...the Braves played and won the 1914 world series in Fenway while the Sox left Fenway to play the 1915 and 1916 world series at Braves Field
  10. I am not sure how this happened, maybe someone can explain this to me.The Red Sox won the World Series in 1912 in Fenway.....then the Boston Braves won in Fenway in 1914........1915 and 1916 World Series were won again by the Sox but in Braves Field. Can anyone explain this.
