  1. I think we are seeing the real Jason Bay right now. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7143/career;_ylt=AhiMEwk1EHHZa09eaE4fZ52FCLcF He strikes out at will. And doesn't hit above .290 ever. Please do not re-sign this guy.
  2. It's noones fault. We just flat out suck right now. But I seen this time and time again from this bunch they will not score a decent amount then just explode. It's just annoying cause everyone else wins every night.
  3. Kudos to Ozzie Guillen managing in south Chicago. Absolutley embarassed Linebrink taking him out.
  4. If there's a correct time to get beat up like this I'm glad it's 10 days before July 31st. Just saying we still have time to fix it some how.
  5. I will never bitch about Dice-K again. Smoltz is just awful.
  6. No more then 3-2 or you could go back to the Braves Johnny.
  7. I know this is a obvious statement, but when Jason Bay goes in a strike out spree like he's been on you begin to see what Manny meant to the team. Bay is solid but he is not a superstar. Kudos to Theo for standing his ground.
  8. Alright the lineup has officially started to piss me off. A little help Mr. Epstein, please?
  9. Agree with you big time. I didn't a week ago but I was clearly in the wrong. Even if it's just a simple leadoff man we can hit Drew 6th or 7th it deepens the lineup.
  10. Look guys. This team just doesn't hit on a consistant basis, ever! Here's what everyone knows about the Redsox. 1) They don't have a true leadoff hitter or a real run producing cleanup bat. 2) The pitching will take them as far as they go this year. If your a GM, not named Theo Epstein. Why would you even call the Redsox about Penny unless your giving them a leadoff hitter or a cleanup hitter? And if your Theo Epstein, why do you make that move without a need return?
  11. Not interested in ever trading starting pitching. Unless i'm getting something I need in return.
  12. Good job by the Sox. He doesn't deserve a new contract.
  13. I see Bay struck out like 3 times again. He wants more then we are offering him?? Give him ugats that greedy bastard.
  14. If he can hit higher then 260 he will get his money. Not too bothered over this news.
  15. Yeah thats it. I have to learn to post links to be of any use around here. My fault.
  16. Reports from WEEI state he has been released just now. Good riddense.
  17. Then you should see my grammar after Julio makes a error. You'd really cry. lol
  18. A better version. Meaning one that can play everyday.
  19. Red Sox "Desperately" Want To Move Lugo By Ben Nicholson-Smith [July 16 at 12:37pm CST] Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports hears that the Red Sox are trying "desperately" to move Julio Lugo now that Jed Lowrie, Mike Lowell and Clay Buchholz are about to return to the active roster. The Red Sox won't have room for Lugo anymore, so they're looking to trade him. They've been trying to deal him since last year to no avail, so Rosenthal hears the Red Sox could simply release Lugo if they don't find a match. Lugo makes $9MM this year and the same amount next season, but he's underperforming so the Red Sox would have to pay most of his salary in any deal. While some teams seek middle infield help, it's doubtful that Lugo would appeal to many of them.
