    didn't expect that view to be popular. while I would love to see Ranaudo in Boston, LSU was my 1st love in multiple sports. living less than 2 hours from campus, I started going to games at an early age. and now I'm enjoying bringing my 2 sons to games as well. hoping one day to make a trip out to Fenway (my kids are already asking to go).

    I'm confident Ranaudo will sign. Boston would be a great situation for him. He'll get decent money, and not be pressured to be a savior, or hall of famer right out the shoot. Selfishly, I would love to see this kid stay in Baton Rouge another year, but i really don't see that happening. WOW!

    I'll be shocked if Ranaudo doesn't sign. Pre-Season, he was projected as the best pitcher in the draft. One mediocre season cost him a LOT of money. Sure coming back "could" improve his stock if he returns to his '09 form. Or he could fall out of the early rounds if he repeats '10.

    :thumbsup: don't think it was anything that serious. LSU kept it under wraps, so tough to tell. From what LSU leaked out, it was just a slight discomfort when bringing his arm back during the windup, and not when actually throwing. If the Sox get Ranaudo from '09, he is an absolute steal. Watching him for the last 2 years has been fun, and we're gonna miss him down here.

    LSU overcomes an 8 run deficit, and win 10-9 over William and Mary. Austin Ross had a perfect game going with 2 out in the 5th until the wheels came off and WM&M lit him up, and his replacement.

    LSU improved to 4-0 by beating McNeese St last night 2-1. Ranaudo is gonna miss his start tomorrow night (and possibly the one after that one). Mainieri says its nothing serious, but he has an "awkward feeling" in his pitching elbow. losing him for an extended period would be the worst possible news for this team.

    LSU won game 2 last night 25-8 Took my wife and kids to the game today. Love the new Intimidator out in right field. Beautiful weather for a ball game. LSU wins 4-0. Rice got swept in their opening series, and I was just informed Texas lost 2 of their 1st 3 as well.

    LSU rolling today. Up 15-0 and still batting bottom 4. Matt Gaudet with two homers. Game 3 tomorrow at 1 Baton Rouge time. Taking wife and kids to the game. Nothing like Baseball at the Box.

    LSU holds on to beat Centenary 5-4 Ranaudo with the win Matty Ott gets the save P.S. LSU sophomore outfielder Trey Watkins is gonna be a good one. JUCO transfer, so this was his 1st game as a Tiger couple stolen bases, advanced from 1st to 3rd on an error (probably could have scored), and scored the winning run. book on him says he's a prototypical leadoff guy. high OBP high OBP lots of walks (and hpb) excellent base stealer

    expect to see a LARGE number of MLB scouts at the friday game between LSU and Ole Miss. Ranaudo vs Pomeranz should be one hell of a matchup

    LSU up 4-3 going to bottom 7 Ranaudo went 5 (left due to pitch count) 1 hit, 2 bb, 6k, 1 un-earned run LSU has hit 3 balls tonight that will probably leave the Box on a warmer night. ball never really carries in the chillier weather down here. but once it warms, the winds shift and it turns the Box into a launching pad.

    LSU opening it's title defense against Centenary tonight. 1-1 mid 3rd right now Ranaudo on the mound for LSU dude is a stud. projected to go EARLY 1st round in MLB draft this year.

    Saints can't play the Cowboys in round 2 #1 seed plays lowest remaining seed after the wild card round. Dallas is the highest seed, so if they win, they'll automatically play the Vikings. so in your scenario, the Saints would play the Packers, and Vikes would play the Cowboys.
