I disagree. The play was to home preventing the first run. Then there would have been two outs. There is no way to speculate weather the next batter would have lined a shot down the line.

At least one of those runs should never have scored. Beckett dug himself a hole, but Beltre's brain fart cost at least one run. It's pathetic. I see better execution of fundamental baseball in Pawtucket. To me, he's the biggest disappointment of the off season acquisitions.
