  1. That was a wasted opportunity. Ugh!

  5. Gardner sucks.
  6. Youk!!!! 6-1 Sox.
  7. What about Saito? I hope I spelled that correctly.
  8. Nava sucks! 4-0 Sox.
  9. I just don't' understand how the Sox have been playing over their heads.
  10. Youk has not forgotten how to hit. 1-0 Sox.
  11. Sort of like Sizemore and Ellsbury. On a small sample size.
  12. I miss Tank.
  13. Why?
  14. What! The Sox don't have another $7. Mil to spend? They paid for Renteria, Manny, Lugo, to play for another team. Ad those salaries up.
  15. Patterson at second base? And batting second? Get'er done!
  16. As well you should be y228. Sometime within the last week, I saw a very interesting breakdown of the PK on television. Either ESPN or ABC. Sorry, I have no links. They stated that many people assume that hitting a baseball is the most difficult task in organized sports. As it turns out, defending a PK is about twice as hard. The report went into reaction times (broken down into milliseconds) and the physics of it all. Ultimately, a goaltender has to "guess" where the ball will be kicked.
  17. Youk looks like he hurt himself there.
  18. Hulett was waived? Sorry Dojji!
  19. Manuel has been lights out in Pawtucket recently.
  20. With regard to Casey Kelly, while it's true that he has been getting roughed up lately, the Sox continue to be very high on the guy. I can't find the link, but there was an article on Boston.com within the last two weeks where his performance was evaluated. As I recall, he is now having to deal with men on base. Something that he has little or no experience with. Pitching from the stretch is new to him. Also, he needs to work on developing his secondary pitches and command. The article quoted several Sox player development/ coaching/ FO as saying that they are actually pleased that he is having to deal with adversity now, during his early development. They feal that he has the stuff to learn from the experience and become a mainstay in the organization for some time. I don't think that he will be dealt anytime soon. Also, another member of Talksox (I believe it may have been yh213) recommended the site overthemonster.com. They have daily updates on all Sox prospects, Low A through AAA. It's really good stuff. http://www.overthemonster.com/
  21. 1st full season as a pitcher.
  22. Welcome back. A lot of us have really missed your insight and humor.
