Just when I thought Salt would be a black hole in the lineup. That's a big hit. Beckett needs some strong innings now.

Wouldn't be surprised. Finding a spot for Crawford has to be taken care of. I don't think 7th is the long-term solution.

This is obviously starting to become a real problem. I don't think there's any way you can justify hitting Crawford 3rd, but the same could be said for him hitting 7th. I don't care if Crawford and Pedroia both hate hitting lead off, one of them needs to do it. They're both too good of hitters to not have in front of Gonzalez and Youk. So give me your ideal lineup as of now. 1-Crawford 2-Pedroia 3-Gonzalez 4-Youkilis 5-Ortiz 6-Drew 7-Scutaro 8-Saltalamacchia 9-Ellsbury

Just sign the guy. He's been outstanding for us. The last thing in the world I would want to see is someone else sign Lee and we're left with a pissed off Beckett who might walk regardless. Sign him.

I always liked the red with the grey. The blue isn't awful, but red looks better. The hanging sox definitely suck.

That was something I really missed last year, that overpowering and dominant performance that you can usually count on from Beckett. It's only one outing, but it's certainly a great start.
