Sox and Youk agree to four year, $40 mil deal

This can't be considered anything but a great deal for Youk and the Sox. Youk is a gold glove first baseman that gives the team a rare opportunity to switch him to 3rd base or the outfield if needed. There are not many first baseman that put up his numbers, have his defensive skills in different position and have his pride in the game. I am thrilled to have this deal done, now if only he could catch too. -
Greetings to all Sox fans and baseball fans in general. As the title reads, I am new and thought I would introduce myself. I am originally from Pa but living in Norfolk Va while stationed in the worlds finest US Navy. I am a huge Sox fan but baseball fan first. I appreciate talent no matter what uniform they wear but I prefer it to be a Sox jersey. I look forward to this board and hopefully not everyone here writes negative threads to just get a kick out of folks. I look forward to talking to you all.
