The night after a very incomplete and empty feeling. I'd just like to get this off my chest. Out of all the teams since 2001, this is the 1 team I thought vastly over achieved. Making the unexpectedness of this run even more fun. I appreciate the guts of this team I really do. First we lost Beckett for the first couple of games. Then Ortiz and Dice K. Followed by Mannys douchebaggery among other barriers. It was truly a honor to watch this team on a nightly basis. Lets be honest we had lots of players on this roster who have no business in professional baseball right now yet they found ways to get by. Good luck to the Rays keep the title in division and hopefully next year make some more noise!! And if this really is it for captain Varitek.. As much as I never really liked you and took you for granted, you were everything a leader and Bostonian should be... I won't realize how lucky I was to watch you day in and day out good luck Tek!
