    I agree. The Sox have always parted ways with fan favorites in order to maintain a high caliber of play. They did it with Damon, Manny, Pedro. It's to either put Wake in the pen or let him go. Yes he does give them innings but s*** he's so 50/50.

    If he had actually come clean and admitted his mistakes, then sure, let him play. I have no problem with Giambi, even Rodney Harrison, who admit they f***ed up and are sorry. But Bonds, same with Clemens, thumb there noses at everyone but expect to get a second chance. f*** that. The U.S. is historically forgiving but we're not total dipshits but Bonds expects everyone to believe him just because Giant fans stroked his ego everytime he came to bat.

    No way to Bonds. I have to sit here and listen to all the Doyer fans sings praises of Manny for his hitting and his effort but they don't know the whole story...they're just blinded by the numbers. Same thing with Bonds. f*** him and how his jealous ass spit on the game. I like how all the teams, including the Yankees, have cock-blocked his ass out of baseball...I just hope it continues. The sox have changed the tone of the clubhouse since 2004 and are now a hard wording no-nonsense crew. They got rid of all the 'idiots', except the ones that put in the hard work. Getting rid of Manny, to me, was the close of that 'idiot' chapter so to bring Bonds in just to get a few bombs defeats the purpose.

    They actually stuck with Clay 2 games too many. It was obvious that he's been lacking the confidence for a while. But you're right, the should have left Marcum in to at least finish the inning.
