  1. I know, I just don't want Betancourt stealing TPJ's thunder...
  2. My excitement has nothing to do with Betancourt.
  3. By far the single best part of the Royals season for me, screw Zack Greinke! Now I can begin to take my front office seriously again!
  4. I'd be more than okay with this... 2011: Chase Field 2012: Fenway Park (100 year anniversary) 2013: Kauffman Stadium (40 year anniversary) 2014: Wrigley Field (100 year anniversary)
  5. Sorry Boston, but you had 1999...
  6. Well deserved, although I am disappointed...

ERA up to 2.85 Hernandez: W #9, 8 innings, 3 hits, 1 run (earned), 2 walks, 7 strikeouts, 0 home runs. ERA down to 2.53 Friday... 8. The strike zone is all over the place...
  9. Yeah I saw we posted at almost the exact same time. Mark Teahen is now batting .667 against the Sox...
  10. No, our affiliate has local baseball on tonight. I'm about to head out and watch the game though...
  11. Lefty Grove, and Babe Ruth...?
  12. Got the Royals line-up?
  13. Brian Bannister will hope to reverse his track record in Boston. He's has allowed 11 runs and 4 home runs in 11.1 innings in 2 starts at Fenway, losing all 3 of starts against the Red Sox. Bannister (6-6, 3.87) has pitched well lately. Despite a 2-3 record in his last 5 starts, he has a 2.57 ERA and .211 opponent batting average over that span.
  14. I think if the season ended today, then no. But it doesn't, and Beckett, Hernandez, and even Buehrle look like they are putting it together and getting hot...

  17. I already updated it. But he can: "Flat. Out. Hit." Ho-chee-ver. Juan Cruz has been near lights out of late as well... He does lead the league in triples...
