  1. Send Gagne and MDC out for Coors Lights for the celebration party.
  2. I would be thrilled with 5 strong innings from Lester.
  3. Seemed to work out OK last night. We just need to get the bats going early so that we can make the D changes later in the game. What's everyone think Lester is going to do?

  5. I guess. I got a note from SOTKS saying he needed a wingman, but I got on too late. I think the Mojo is good, though.
  6. OneRedSeat? What's your deal? Warm enough to run around the house naked three times in Orlando.
  7. Excellent. This is no time to take stupid chances.
  8. Don't be stupid. Pop the corn! If the sox are behind after the 5th inning, then you MUST draw a mustache on yourself. Deal?
  9. Well, that takes the Mojo Monkey off my back, but I had just a little something to get the Mojo flowing: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=16E64F498D9F2516 Get the brooms out, bitches! Now, so as NOT to f*** up the mojo, let's review: RedSoxRooter - Listen to 3 tunes from I-Tunes Sox mix; Wear your TalkSox T under your gray hoodie; Turn on your Red Sox Bud lamp for at least 5 minutes; Don't forget to post Go Sox! A700Hitter - It's all about the couch position and bathroom breaks TedWilliams101 - Have roommate burn the eggs Ksushi - Don't pee after the first inning Jabs - Put your youngest to bed! Silvercreekcc2006 - Don't let the dog lick me until 5th inning; Remember to randomly use Quote button
  10. wow

  12. The Yankees will be more entertaining off the field than on the field for the next few years. :thumbdown
  13. I agree. For the potential implosion factor alone! Where ya been Kilo? Colorado?
  14. True. But he gives you some bargaining power.
  15. Twinkees can't afford what he's worth. We'll see if he plays with his heart, or wallet. Yankees can swoop him up easily.
  16. You forgot the most likely prospect, and that is Torii Hunter. I THINK he's still out there, isn't he?
  17. Do I have the Mojo stick by default if he's a no-show?
  18. Consider that if Minnesota would have had a healthy Lariano this past season, they would have had probably the most potent 1 and 2 in the AL. Don't know if you'll get Santana, or Hunter, or both, but MN will most likely dump and re-build. They have one of the MOST effective farm talent programs in baseball. Why? Because they HAVE to. They can't afford to pay them once they fully develop. That's where the Yankees come in. Bosox too (see Josh Beckett).
  19. Got me there. I guess a focus on re-building from within every 12 years or so when the FA pool dries up is sound strategy.
  20. Point well taken. I think it is likely that Girardi will get the job. We'll see how long it takes for a meltdown. If things don't go well, then we know what Girardi is capable of - that's all I'm saying.
  21. On the bright side, they've got nothing better to do right now, so perhaps they'll figure it out. Meanwhile, we're playing baseball. There's still room on the bandwagon, hop on!
