This is about the best pickup we could have realistically hoped for from WMP, especially given that we couldn't wait to get him out of here. Even if Carter never sticks with the big club, he can hold down 1B at Pawtucket until Bates or Anderson is ready to make the leap. Good work by Theo on this one.

Gauging the state of anything by BDD's headlines is a bad move. I think we can hold them off. Time is not a luxury the Yanks have right now.

Hey everybody, My name is Scott. I'm 26, live in Worcester, and have loved the Sox for my entire existence. Been looking for a non-SOSH or RSN board where I can hang my hat, and this certainly seems like it'll do the trick. When I'm not wasting time at work on messageboards, I play guitar in a few bands (metal and acoustic rock), try to pay attention to the 5 cats my roomies and I own, and make bad jokes.
