    I think everyone needs to come to grips with the fact that we probably aren't going out and selling the farm for a big time player at the trade deadline. Our additions are going to come from within when we get back Pedroia, Martinez (likely Monday), Ellsbury, Varitek, etc. Are we going to be out of it by then? I hope not, but I just don't see a big move happening for this team at the deadline, and given what a lot of teams are probably asking for in return I'd be willing to bet Theo is making the right decision.

    A real shame that Lester is on the wrong end of this one... Playing the Eric Patterson's and Kevin Cash's of the world is finally catching up to us post-all star break. The offense has gone in the tank.
