I've seen Bonds play in person a few times and I really think that he and Griffey are the best players I've had the chance to see. The amount of talent Bonds has is really amazing. All the Gold Gloves, stolen bases... he's a truly an all around player. I was rooting for him all along because crap a lot of players use and everyone's acting like he's the only one. Do they not think some of the pitchers he's faced are using, too? That's just being extremely naive. Also since all of this controversy may block him from the Hall even though he was already destined for it before all the home runs, he deserves this. I'm also glad that other teams will be on ESPN now.

Wow, that's um, not good haha. He did alright for Oakland at times, but it seemed to me that his hair was a bigger star than him.

I know he's had an off year, but I really have to think it's sort of a prolonged slump more than anything. He's been incredible for how many years in a row and for him to just fall off and not get it back doesn't seem like a huge likely hood. It seems like it should be more of a gradual decline. And I don't think age is the culprit, either. There are plenty of good players out there who are reaching their 40s now. Call me optimistic but I bet he gets out of this funk before too long.

So which do we prefer, the Jesus look, the monkey look, or the "I play for the Yankees so am now a clean cut wuss" look? And I don't really see that much of a resemblance. That's just mean to Ellsbury, dude.

I never really got the arrogant vibe from Nomar. Maybe that's because of idol worship haha. The only thing that ever bothered me about him was his OCD-ness in the batter's box, but that mostly just made me laugh.

I live in Minnesota. It's not too bad. Just kinda cold.

I think that Haren deserves it, too. If he didn't get the start, I think he could be considered snubbed. He's only had one start where he's given up more than three runs, he's had eight starts where he's given up one run or less, and he's gone at least six innings in all but two starts. Not to mention the ERA and the ten wins. Haren deserved it.

My parents are from there but they moved out to the Midwest right before my older brother was born. I have every intention of moving to Boston when I graduate college so I can be closer to Fenway haha. We visit family there every summer and always go to a few games, but that's just not enough. I love the Sox too much. My favorite of all time is still Nomar cuz I used to play short stop in high school softball and my favorite current playeris Varitek. Gotta love those Georgia Tech alums.
