  1. You gotta be kidding. Kemp is WAY more valuable than Manny right now. Even if Manny's talent level is higher (which can be debatable - Kemp is a much better fielder and put up numbers in limited time that were better than Manny's), Manny still makes like 200X whatever Kemp is scheduled to make next year. And Kemp's cheap contract has 3 or 4 years remaining. If Kemp were to be traded for Manny, there would be more given to LA, and it will almost certainly include a wad of cash. The trade is just not going to happen.
  2. I wanted to post this in the Papelbon's Filthy thread, but it was closed. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7014472
  3. If I recall correctly, you also were ecstatic with the Drew and Lugo signings. Matsukaza has been good, but not lights out. When you include all three players, I'd say the nay-sayers have been better with their predictions than you.
  4. I think Pujols is injured. that would explain why LaRussa benched him.
  5. Ichiro for MVP, my guess.
  6. f*** Rowand.
  7. K-Rod is wild. This is a good ending to an all-star game.
  8. Why won't LaRussa put Pujols in right now? Sticking with Hudson? Maybe he's hiding an injury to Albert.
  9. They got it right putting Webb and Young on the NL team. Lowe should have been there also. Sure he's 8-8, but he's been dominating, gets no run support. Fuentes lost his closer job, COL already has Holliday to represent them. There was no need for Fuentes to be there. Gorzellany and Snell would have been better choices than Fuentes. Where's Hanley?
  10. You have a lot to learn. Of course I know what Yaz'sTripleCrown said. but that has nothing to do with Biggio. Keep it to THAT thread, not this one.
  11. He's offering Scalabrine and Ratliff. Trash.
  12. No offense, but it doesn't take a genius to guess that one. Padres, like the Mets and Red Sox, looooove former Dodgers.
  13. Nobody wants the C's trash.
  14. Boston trade the #5 pick, Sczerbiak, and Delonte West for Ray Allen.
  15. Seattle just traded Ray Allen to Boston for the #5 pick and a couple of players. There was also a rumor they might trade Luke Ridnour to Atlanta for the #11. If they do that, they'll need a PG and might take Conley if Memphis passes on him. I think Yi is a top-5 player, but if Atlanta opts for Horford, Memphis already has an Yi-like player in Gasol and Seattle will have Durant, Lewis and Wilcox down low and might need another guard, so this could shake things up a little.
  16. I'm not a troll, and what you posted was not sarcasm. Learn what sarcasm before you try to pawn your crappy posts off as sarcasm next time.
  17. I haven't been here long, so I have no idea how you have gotten away with posting crap like this 728 times already.
  18. Where did he ever say that? You are like Adam123 in that you bring up things totally unrelated to the thread. We're talking about Biggio, and you bring up a closer who's been in baseball for 1-1/2 seasons. If you want to knock the Dodgers somehow, at least bring up Kent, a comparable 2nd baseman.
