    So far this season Cora's batting .394 (13H/33 Ab) with a .788 SLG! Yeah he has only played in 18 games, but his bat has been hot and has come up with some clutch hits, like in the first Yankees series. Lowell is batting a .302 (32H/106 Ab) with a .491 SLG. These two guys have been getting the job done at the plate this year. Cora has a .444 OBP and Lowell's OBP is a .356! If these two guys keep hitting like they are and getting on base I believe that this will be a key to a Sox championship

    I agree..yes Bonds is a great hitter, but there is always going to be that shadow that follows him around! I think we got the pieces together to win another championship this year! We do need a 5th man in the rotation, possibly Lester or Clemens ( I am a big Clemens advocate to Boston) the bullpen is very solid thus far with the exception of Timlin on the 15 day DL. He is strong down the stretch. If the Sox stay healthy, unlike last year, look for a Championship year!

    I dont like this idea at all! The yankees played in Japan in 2004 and had a horrible start to the season, this could happen to the Sox

    I believe Dice will come around and be the ace pitcher that everyone has expected through this offseason! He does have stellar stuff! I look for him to calm down and to start pitching like he did for Seibu and Japan in the WBC!

    Nicely put! I would love to see the Rocket back in a Sox uni! And why would he not want to! I think he would get great run support in Boston and have a chance to win another ring with the team that he started with! I guess we will find out his decision by May 31st

    This could prove to be a magical year! Just wait until everyone gets hot and Dice-K pitches better than his last start!

    I was looking back through a 2005 Media Guide and I was comparing Aprils from 2004 and this year! The Sox started of with a great April in that year going 15-6, this year has been close to the same in production going 16-8. In April its always way too early to predict the outcome of a long and grueling season and predictions are pretty insane to make. I mean look at the Tigers last year, who would've thought that they would make it to the Series! I Think that with this start in April we have as good a chance as ever to win the division, pennant, and the Series! I just hope and pray that the rest of the months to come are as good if not better than April! Go Sox

    I would have to agree. Who would've thought that Okajima would be this good thus far in the season! I think the bullpen will be better towards the end of the season when Timlin gets healthy! But as for the Yankees bullpen...look at last nights loss 15-11 to the Mariners, you can't tell me that the Yankees bullpen is better!

    Like the Mojo pic! Has a good touch to it! The Homerdome is always a tough place to play Boston is 53-74 in the Metrodome, but this team is a lot different then last year! I would say 2/3 would be great, better then a series sweep by the Twinkies! GO SOX

    I would love to see Clemens come back to the Sox, but all signs are pointing to the yanks! But then again we could all be wrong and he goes back to the Astros

    Every great closer in baseball blows a save every now and again! Can't hold that against him. Tito still has great confidence in this kid. The thing is Papelbon doesn't let a blown save get to him, he always bounces back! Tonight will be a great game for Beckett and the Sox!

    I think with Randy Moss added to the roster you make Tom Brady very dangerous! This was a great steal for the whole team just watch out because Tom will spread the ball around to all of his receivers! Patriots SB champs!
