    Eh, not sure about it. But a few days after the All-Star game, I had heard from a friend that J.D. Drew had offered Tito his services on the mound should Kazmir need to be pulled and avoiding a tie. Anyone know if that was true? Was J.D. willing to pitch? I'm not familiar with his pitching, seeing it's not his position. Anyone have anything on this?

    I don't think we'll ever see a more dominant pitcher in our time. As Crunchy said, the Pedro of 97-99 was some of the greatest pitching in baseball history. I was 11 during his 99 performance and I can remember all the good games of that beautiful season. It was my favorite summer and October (despite the ALCS) watching Pedro perform.

    Yeah, everyone gets pissed at Schilling for talking bad about another athelete (who really deserves it anyway), yet no one even gives a flying f*** about Josh Howard's disrespect of the National Anthem. No we don't care about that.
