    We'll Tavarez did a pretty good job. 5 2/3 giving up only 3 runs. Pretty good for your sub 5 starter. Too bad we ran into Dan Haren though.

    We'll Haren is at 92 pitches. Hopefully we can work him in the 7th and get to the pen for the rest of the game. Yea, Street and their orignal setup guy are on the DL.

    Oh I know we can comeback. I just go with the odds. And right now the odds are well in Oaklands favor. The only thing that could significantly help our odds is if we can get to their BP by the 8th inning. They are without their setup man and Street. If not, well, there aren't many outs left in the deck if you know what i mean.

    I know its not over. But I have seen a lot of Dan Haren the last 2 years and when he settles down like this, he is almost always lights out through the 7th or 8th. The stats this year support that. He hasn't allowed more than 3 runs in a start this season. We could win, but I doubt it. Haren is looking like Haren and Tavarez is looking like Tavarez.

    What, I'm not ripping into JT. He does need to try to be more efficient though, he's keeps falling behind in the count. WMP does worry me in OF. But trust me, I want him to succeed here.

    JT didn't do that bad a job. The 2nd single was just a perfectly placed ball on a perfectly called hit and run. Nothing you can do there. His only big mistake was the triple by Ellis.
