Just reminded of that "Ortiz Jinx" at the new stadium. Funny how the balls are flying out of the stadium while Ortiz still doesn't have a HR.

It's one of the most annoying things about the sport of baseball. No other sport has such horrible delays. I was at one of the longest rain delays in the history of the Red Sox, it was a day game that was supposed to start at 1:05. The game didn't start until after 7:00 and of course, the "updates" were all the same "Thanks for your patience, we are doing everything to get this game underway, blah blah blah".

Weather doesn't look good for tonight, I'm expecting this game to get PPD.

Does Tek and the pitch staff need to make serious adjustments to keep people from stealing bases? I'm not sure just how much stock to put into this, but the Sox lead the majors having given up 34 stolen bases in 42 attempts.

How about we just have no SS? Lowell and Pedroia can just expand their range. It would definitely be an upgrade over Lugo.

Lugo is a piece of s***. I'd rather have a black hole at SS than Lugo.

f***, just drop him down to 8. Lowell and Tek are both absolutely killing the ball (well, at least compared to Ortiz). You should have to earn/lose your spot in the lineup. Ortiz should have lost the 3 spot by now, and drop below anyone who is actually hitting, meaning the 8 spot. Winning games > "maintaining" confidence in a struggling piece of s*** player.
