  1. What a joke, 'the privilege of being a Yankee on a team where the owners are willing to pay 200 million dollars to ........" They are actually trying to use the payroll thing to their P.R advantage? BS
  2. Thank you for a great season Sox.
  3. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW! Red sox are the champs again!
  4. I am a football fan, but still. I'm gonna miss the Sox until the spring.
  5. Lester has done his job, in my eyes. If we can get one or two more innings, great. But he has set a good solid tone for five innings and thats what we wanted.
  6. Come on Jacoby... give us some insurance.
  7. How entertaining is the Red Sox bullpen.
  8. Come on boys, bring the championship home! Just a few more hours of good baseball
  9. Thank God he is alright, that was a very scary hit that could have been not only career ending, but life changing. Phew...scary stuff
  10. Here we go.... Game 4 Tonight. Damn this is exciting.
  11. While there are reasons he might not accept, its kind of disgusting that his contract will be more than any team in baseball's payroll, and he may not accept it. And they haven't gotten done since he got to NY, although he has in the regular season.
  12. Just another reason why Paps is the man
  13. The best one is 'escape from New York...'
  14. haha those are great!
  15. One year deal would work... but the NL might be enticing to him, weaker lineups, competition a bit slower (depending on exactly where he ended up). I agree with the Philly prediction as a possibility, but of course, we'd like him to stay in Boston one more year and then retire. That seems to be the best bet.
  16. Yea, I actually commend Pedro for trying to stay in the game and win it for his team. He was in no state of mind, in a highly competitive atmosphere, to make the decision. That is a managers decision. A bad manager leaves someone in the game when they know they can't get the job done, but the pitcher always is in the mindset that he can.
  17. How stupid was I?????????
  18. I like the idea of a few regular season games in London, but certainly not the Super Bowl. That needs to be in America. Regardless of how much they like it over there, the super bowl is a purely American phenomenon.
