Scaff, you have been very high on Felix Doubrant for the last few years. What does he need to do this coming year to make it into the top five? Is he pitching in winter ball and do the Sox plan on him being a starter and monitoring his pitch counts? Will John Farrell make a difference in his development?

A lifelong amateur baseball junkie, I enjoy the banter amongst similar people. I am an amateur baseball umpire working high school, American Legion, Senior Babe Ruth and Stan Musial games in the Greater Boston and Metro-West areas. I am married with a 17 year old son (left-handed pitcher) living in Millis, MA. I follow the minor league talent more than the major league team and have been very impressed with the Sox drafts since Theo came on board. Looking forward to seeing Pedroia and Murphy help out the big club in 2007 and can't wait for the power arms to make their way to the Back Bay.
