    If Houston takes off after the predictable drop in play from Cleveland (they're not winning out) then yes, that last weekend will be easy wins for you. If Houston has the 1 seed and it's a dogfight in the ALE, the Stros will intentionally gift those games to the sox. Houston owns us. They don't want to play anyone else in that first series. That being said, if Cleveland and Houston are in a dogfight for the 1 seed, they'll play their hearts out

    Price is a week away from pitching simulated games. It'll take a few weeks to build back up to 80 pitches assuming no more setbacks. To be honest with you, I wonder if Price knows he needs TJS and knew he needed it a month or so ago, but knew 2018 was going to be lost regardless and is trying to pitch through it for the betterment of the sox. Maybe he is a good teammate after all? We'll see. If we hear he hits an OR near you a week after the season, then this theory might gain some traction

    You guys are tough. Even with their recent woes, the sox are still two games up in the L column for the east in September and have an easier schedule going forward than NY. Whatever DD's plan was, he's done a good job for this season. Maybe the idea that the sox were a super team was a bit overblown, but they've at least put themselves in a good position to see October baseball

    Please, spend on Lynn. Look at his peripherals this year. HR rate 1.3/9, walk rate mid 3's, BABIP of .229. His average start is 6IP and with his history, he'll get a 5 year deal a la Lackey. His FIP is in the high 4's

    I dont think you guys have the room to offer him anything significant. There's a hard cap now after the Moncada debacle. We might be able to offer him a couple mil. I'm sure other teams can beat that. We shall see
