After watching his first 2 starts, I was saying that his stuff is filthy and his track record said that his command was going to be there. Igawa is starting to prove me right. Igawa's numbers are looking nice (1ER, 4H in last 12IP as well as 19K in 16IP), then again ST numbers dont mean all that much. His control has improved considerably and the heater is starting to creep into the 90s (sitting at 90-91 today). He still is a work in progress as he still has trouble locating in certain innings, but he is looking pretty solid lately. If he can keep this up, he will be nice to have around while our staff is dropping like flies.
