    these guys talk too much, but they are right on this point. You typically dont want to show your whole arsenal out of the gate, which is something DMats does. Then again, he doesnt get hit all that hard anyway, so shut up.

    The change is supposed to be a work in progress. In one inning of the game, Posada went to it as an out pitch and it was really good. Then he appeared to abandon it. It has some serious potential, but I am not sure if the kid has confidence in it all the way yet.

    his fastball is not flat. If you saw the guys whiffing on it, you would know that there is tail. A couple things. He threw 1 or 2 2 seamers. The change was very good. He threw it a few times. Had a lot of tilt and he located it well. Not sure what game you were watching Nate. His issue was the location.

    I agree. I was impressed by the usage of that changeup last night. He was using it as an out pitch and it was filthy.

    Hughes has been considered to have one of the most mechanically sound motions in the minors. He is described mostly as compact and if you wish to make any comparisons mechanically, then the one you should make is to the Rocket. They showed the two side by side and aside from a few small differences, they looked really similar.
