Good day all;
I am a transplanted Beantowner out here in Indiana representing the Red Sox Nation. I joined this site because I would like to ask all of you for additional ideas on how I can explain what it is to be a Red Sox Nation member to these country folk who have adopted their favorite team(s) since Indy doesn't have their own MLB team. I have run out of ideas and am tired of repeating myself 1000 times over. So here's what I need a fresh view point on;
1) what it means to be a part of The Nation?
2) How one actually become part of The Nation?
3) How being a member of The Nation is different than being just a fan and/or a fan of any other team?
4) And lastly how does one explain the game to your significant other who is just getting into the game of baseball so that they can enjoy it with you (aka so you now have a reason to either take over the t.v. or get out of a meaningless engagement b/c the game is on t.v.)
I look forward to conversing with all of you, and any ideas/assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
