No worries; the point is not to write about the curse as if it is a real thing, it is simply to look at how it started and why it stayed so popular throughout the years. So far, what I've learned is that it was started by a writer for the Boston Globe, and most people believe that the Yankees are responsible for keeping it going. I do greatly appreciate everyone's feedback. You've helped me out a lot.

Hello. I am a Red Sox fan, and I am working on a project for a folklore class. For my project, I am researching the different versions of the story of the Curse of the Bambino and how it started. Would anyone be willing to share their version of the story with me? I would greatly appreciate it.
