    Okay, so when the Yankees spent money, they won the division? Yeah, that was basically my point. Not like the Red Sox weren't at all competitive in that time. I think it was a good move to sign Clemens. It solidifies your rotation very much, and it will win you games.

    Embarrased? Why? Our rotation has been the best in the league, our bullpen has been dominant, our hitting good. You can't fault a team for spending money when it wins you games. You can when you're under .500.
