    Why not try to improve? When we settle for what we have, we can't get better. Besides, adding a better player and subtracting a worse one isn't f***ing it up. I know we have the best record, but why does that mean we can't improve?

    Really weird weather today. It was nice out until about 3, when the sky turned grey, end of the world type and it rained a bit. Stopped raining, got bright, now its pouring.

    And I'm leaning towards the Tigers in this one. Tavarez is bad, Tigers offense will jump on him. Maroth is a soft tossing lefty, and I believe the Sox struggle against his type.

    7-2 Tigers. Wake basically had one bad inning and was solid the rest of the way. Donnelly was bad. Snyder was good. Verlander was very good. Record down to 26-12. Tomorrow we got Maroth vs. Tavarez. We'll get em next time.
